Adaptation to change

Individuals vary widely in their readiness to engage with change.  Some will be determine to pursue change while others will be hostile in the outset. Change is tough and can bring initially uncertainty with it. Therefore it is not uncommon to find ourselves facing a stalemate regarding our company, organization or working group. We have to learn to view ambivalence to change as something normal. There will be setbacks and some will fall back to familiar patterns. Change is never linear. We will work to prepare individuals for change by attending to different and varying readiness levels. There is nothing static about readiness. We will empower individuals to actively engage in the process of change. We will support their ideas for solutions and beliefs towards change. All change is ultimately self-change.
